Columbia Business School Gear, which launched in April and offers School-branded merchandise, has recently added several new items for sale. Among the new offerings are cuff links in the shape of the Hermes symbol, which was adopted as Columbia Business School’s emblem in the 1950s because of the Greek god's association with trade, commerce, and travel. The cuff links, handmade in the United States, are designed by Columbia University alumnus Philip Ehrlich, GS '88. They are made of solid sterling silver and use a special alloy that makes them highly tarnish-resistant. The website also now offers a 16-ounce pint glass and a 2-ounce fluted shot glass, both featuring the Columbia Business School logo. The store also carries T-shirts, zippered hooded sweatshirts, mugs, aluminum water bottles, backpacks, baseball caps, umbrellas, and toddler tees. Additionally, silk ties imprinted with the Hermes logo are available. All revenue from Columbia Business School Gear funds the addition of new items. The site also invites users to provide feedback or suggestions.
