Outside Awards

Any citizen of Georgia holding a BA degree and not exceeding the age of 40 is eligible to apply for the program, which aims to fund Georgian students who wish to further their studies abroad. In order to be eligible for the program, applicants must have received a place in a priority field at a university approved by the fund. Columbia is an approved university.

Offers over $500,000 in funding to Scandinavians to undertake study or research programs in the United States for up to one year. Applicants must be citizens of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, or Sweden. The number and size of awards can vary greatly between countries. Contact the cooperative organization for your region.

The Aga Khan Foundation provides a limited number of scholarships each year for postgraduates.

TD Canada Trust offers student loans for MBA students with a credit line up to $80,000.

The Swiss Benevolent Society awards scholarships and grants on the basis of need and merit.

The Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara works to inspire, encourage, and support Santa Barbara County students in their pursuit of education in part through the granting of scholarships. Students who attended at least four out of six secondary grade school years and graduated from a high school in Santa Barbara County, California, and plan to attend full-time as a graduate student at an approved US school are eligible to apply. Indonesian citizens who wish to pursue a full-time MBA program in the US or Europe are eligible for a full scholarship. The scholarship covers tuition for up to two years of study, in addition to airfare, living expenses, books, medical insurance fees and the visa application fee. Offers student loans for qualified Vietnamese students.

This program is designed to provide one-time scholarship grants annually for tuition and books for the pursuit of academic advancement or vocational enhancement. A Chapter LX, SFA member in good standing, family or dependent of a member, or member of the immediate family of a deceased member who was in good standing at the time of death, or an individual currently assigned to HQ, USSOCOM, HQ, SOCCENT, or HQ, CENTCOM who is otherwise eligible for general membership* in the SFA, or a family member or dependent of such an individual, and have been accepted by, or already attending, an accredited college, university, or vocational institute, to include post-graduate students. Exceptions may be made for grandchildren of a member in good standing. Personnel applying on the basis of membership in Chapter LX must have been a member for a period of at least 13 months to be eligible. All application materials must be submitted by July 1 each year.

This scholarship was established to recognise outstanding candidates who have showcased great leadership/innovation skills and who have been accepted to business schools and are looking for financial support for their MBA program. The award value is $10,000 towards tuition/student fees and is paid directly to the business school. Applications are due May 31.

ProNet International's primary purpose is to provide veterans and/or their families financial aid to assist them in obtaining professional and/or academic degrees or other educational scholarships. Scholarships are funded through a number of memorial funds. Applicants must be US Citizens. Preference will be given to those who wish to pursue a career in the insurance industry and/or the study of ethics and are veterans of a foreign war (or the children of any veteran of a foreign war).
