Lorraine Marchand Named Director of Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Management Program

Lorraine Marchand ’06 has been appointed director of the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Management Program. In her new role, which she assumed on August 3, Marchand is responsible for strategic, curricular, and administrative initiatives for the program, working closely with students, faculty and staff members, alumni, and corporate sponsors. Marchand replaced Cliff Cramer, who had led the program since its inception in 2006.

Charles Calomiris Named New Faculty Director of Program for Financial Studies

In June, Charles Calomiris, the Henry Kaufman Professor of Financial Institutions, was appointed the new faculty director of the Program for Financial Studies. He succeeds Laurie Hodrick, the A. Barton Hepburn Professor of Economics, who served as founding director of the program and guided its establishment and activities since the program’s inception in 2010.
