NEW YORK — Glenn Hubbard, Dean of Columbia Business School, issued the statement below following today’s announcement by the White House:

Nikhil Chaudhri ’16, co-vice president of Careers with the Real Estate Association (REA), has been awarded a Pension Real Estate Association (PREA) scholarship for the 2015-16 academic year.

Lorraine Marchand ’06 has been appointed director of the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Management Program. In her new role, which she assumed on August 3, Marchand is responsible for strategic, curricular, and administrative initiatives for the program, working closely with students, faculty and staff members, alumni, and corporate sponsors. Marchand replaced Cliff Cramer, who had led the program since its inception in 2006.

In June, Charles Calomiris, the Henry Kaufman Professor of Financial Institutions, was appointed the new faculty director of the Program for Financial Studies. He succeeds Laurie Hodrick, the A.
